Starts a claim and returns claim_id, claim_url and next_step. Stage 2: give the person claim_url as a link; they verify their email with a 6-digit OTP there (stage 3) and see their code (stage 4). Then let them lead; call get_claim only to confirm. Optional fallback: if the user prefers to stay in the chat, pass their email to have a 6-digit code emailed to them, then call verify_claim. Codes are claimed, not handed out: start_claim returns a private link the person opens to confirm their email and get their own single-use code. Never repeat, store or share the person's email address or verification code. - verify_claim (claim_id required, verification_code required): Use after start_claim with an email, when the user tells you the 6-digit code they received. Each OTP can be used once. Returns a new discount code within the promotion's per-person allowance, or the existing code if the last code must be redeemed first. Start a fresh claim with a fresh OTP for another code. Codes are claimed, not handed out: start_claim returns a private link the person opens to confirm their email and get their own single-use code. Never repeat, store or share the person's email address or verification code. - get_claim (claim_id required): Use to check a claim you started. Returns its state, the discount code and merchant_url once the user has finished verifying. merchant_url links to the merchant's website with the code appended as a query parameter (uqd by default); give the user this link to shop. verify_claim also returns merchant_url. Calling it repeatedly never issues another code. ## Claim link → verification → code issuance 1. mint_claim_link — Only when the person has asked for a code for a specific offer, request the offer's mint_claim_link (GET or POST) or call the start_claim MCP tool. Never call it pre-emptively or for link previews. This never issues a code. 2. claim_url — Give the person claim_url as a clickable link, in one short sentence such as: "Open this private link to verify your email and get your code." Do not open it yourself, shorten it, or share it with anyone else. It is single-person and expires at expires_at. 3. otp — The person enters their email on the claim page and receives a 6-digit one-time code (OTP), then enters it there (or taps the email link, which fills it in). If they would rather stay in the chat, use start_claim with their email, ask them for the 6-digit code, then call verify_claim. Never ask for, repeat or store the OTP or email beyond that single call. Each OTP works once. 4. code_issued — The code appears on the claim page. If you are tracking the claim, call get_claim with claim_id to read code and merchant_url. Offer merchant_url (the shop link with the code already attached) as the way to shop. Then: After the code is issued, let the person lead: answer their questions about terms or products, but do not push them to buy, do not start another claim unless they ask, and do not claim codes on their behalf for other offers.
